What students are saying

Meet Abe — your soon-to-be favorite English tutor (and possibly your unofficial life coach… no extra charge). Once upon a time, Abe had a “serious” career. You know the type: long hours, polite nodding, and wondering, “Is this really for me?” Plot twist — it wasn’t. So he did something bold. He traded in “safe and predictable” for “alive and unstoppable.” Now? He teaches English like it’s meant to be taught: with energy, curiosity, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. Abe isn’t here to drill boring grammar rules into your brain like a robot. He’s here to help you live the language. Think real conversations, stories that stick, and lessons that feel more like adventures than assignments. One day you might be learning vocabulary through music, the next through travel stories that make you want to pack a travel bag. Why Abe? Because he gets it. Learning a new language can feel awkward, frustrating, and sometimes like your tongue forgot how to work. Abe’s been there — not just as a teacher, but as a human who knows what it’s like to start over and chase something meaningful. His superpower? Turning nervous learners into confident speakers who actually enjoy the process. His vibe? Laid-back, encouraging, and just the right amount of “let’s try it and make it fun.” His mission? Helping you speak English with confidence — not perfection. (Perfection is boring anyways.) Warning: Side effects of working with Abe may include increased confidence, spontaneous laughter, and the sudden urge to travel the world. If you’re ready to stop “studying English” and start actually using it — Abe’s your guy.

I wholeheartedly recommend Abraham as an amazing TOEFL teacher! I was an international dentist who was preparing to move to the United States to practice here. My biggest struggle was my English. I tried the TOEFL exam in 2020 and 2021 and just couldn’t pass it. But thanks to Abraham’s patience, clear explanations, and super creative teaching style, I finally passed in 2023! He always explained things in a way that was easy to understand, gave me personalized strategies, and showed me how to use everything in real life. Because of him, my English improved so much and I finally felt confident. Abraham is not only a fantastic teacher, but also a caring mentor who truly wants the best for his students. I highly recommend him to any international dentist who is struggling with English. You really won’t regret it! Good luck in everything Abraham.

I’ve tried several tutors before, but Abraham truly stands out. He’s incredibly patient, warm, and effective in his teaching. My pronunciation has improved so much, and I finally feel confident speaking English. I’m really grateful I found him on Superprof!

Abraham makes you feel comfortable, and his lessons are very natural. He is energetic and a fantastic storyteller. My pronunciation has seen much improvement, yet I still struggle with grammar. He makes learning English fun again. Superprof is lucky to have him as a tutor. The things I see in class can be used in everyday life. You get real practice outside of class. Thank you, and see you in class next week, teacher!

Abraham is really passionate about teaching, and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping his students improve. He made pronunciation feel comfortable and easy to understand, never rushed or overwhelming. Everything I’ve learned from his lessons has been useful right away in real conversations. I’m really grateful to have found such a great teacher!

Abraham is honestly the teacher I didn't know I needed. I'm from Mexico and my biggest problem wasn't my grammar — it was me. I was so shy that every time I had to speak English, my mind went blank. I would rather stay quiet than make a mistake in front of someone. He never made me feel bad. Not only was he my English teacher, he also became my life coach. Not once did he correct me in a way that felt like a conversation; it was the correction I was looking for. After a few weeks, I noticed something — I started talking more. Not just in class but in real life. My English is still not perfect. But now I'm not afraid to make mistakes because I know I’m learning to speak it. See you next week in class, profe!

Abraham is the first English tutor I've ever had, and I was really nervous at first because my English wasn't very good. I could understand some basic things, but speaking was really hard for me. I told Abraham I wanted to focus on listening and conversation, and that's exactly what we work on. He's super patient with me. When I don't know a word, he helps me figure it out instead of just giving me the answer. And he doesn't make me feel bad when I mess up, which happens a lot. I've been working with him for a few months now, and I can actually see the difference. Before, I could barely have a conversation without stopping every few seconds. Now I can talk for longer without getting stuck. I still make mistakes, but I'm not as scared to speak anymore. If you're a beginner or just starting to feel more comfortable with English, Abraham is great.
